Senior Pastor Richard Bane
I was Born July 18, 1952 to Willie B. and Mary Louise Bane in Carthage, Tennessee and was to be a third generation pentecostal preacher in our family. Like many PK's(Preachers Kids) I went through all the struggles, conflicts, and fears of being raised in a preachers home. No one including myself would have thought I would be in the ministry and sometimes after 36 years it still seems like a dream to which I am very thankful unto the Lord. 1972 was a very important and life changing year in my life. I was married to Nola Mai Mofield, Born again in a powerful pentecostal revival, and called to preach the blessed gospel of Jesus Christ my Lord. The first seven years was spent as an evangelist to as many as twenty different States and three different countries. It was a time of the miraculous in my life and shaped my future ministry in a local pastorate. Now in 2008 Nola and I have spent the remaining twenty nine years serving as a local church pastor and blessed to take seven missions trips to other countries. Nola and I were blessed with four children two boys and two girls, eleven grandchildren, and have seen our oldest son pastor the same local church now for about eight years. I am thankful to be a graduate of the Church of God Theological Seminary which is the only fully accredited Wesleyan Pentecostal Seminary in the United States and I am presently working on various visual and written teaching products which will be offered here on this web-site and in bookstores as they are completed. I want to thank the people of the Collinwood Church of God for being so loving to my family and so dedicated to the ministry of the Lord to our community. This truly is a church that lives our mission statement and practices what we preach in the Community. MISSION STATEMENT: Everyone will be welcome - Everyone will be loved - Everyone will be changed |
